Tomorrow is water day for the kindergarten students. This will happen last block from 2-3 pm. Please sent your child in an outfit that can get wet. NO bathing suits allowed! You can send a towel for drying off as well as a change of clothes; although we can not promise that there will be time to change. You may have to walk home wet 🙂

We had a great day at kindi Olympics! Thanks to Mr. I And the grade 7 students for organizing and running the teams and events.

We had a great time walking to the fire hall today. The students did an amazing job on the walk…with no complaining!! Here are a few pictures 🙂

With this busy time of year our blogging frequency has decreased 🙁 So, here are a bunch of photos of amazing things that have been happening in our class.

Just a quick reminder that our class will be walking to the fire station on Wednesday. Please dress your little one for the weather and make sure the are wearing comfortable shoes.

School BBQ on Thursday 5-7 pm. Come and enjoy a hotdog or hamburger 🙂

This will be the final week for the s.k at home reading folders. Please make sure to send your books back to school by Wednesday May 31, so we can do a final inventory of our levelled readers.

J.k reading folders will have their final exchange next Monday and Tuesday, with all books due by June 2.

Thanks to those families who have sent back the purple BBQ order forms already. Today we received a purple form with no family name on it… if u sent yours in today with 3 hotdogs, 3 hamburgers and 3 bottles of water, please let us know so we can write your name on it. Thanks

We had a wonderful day at Rounds Ranch 🙂 thanks to our volunteer parents for helping out.

To finish off our study of worms…we made edible worm habitats (hotels). Ask your little one to tell you something they learned about worms!

We started out with 8 minnows and unfortunately went down to 1. We decided it was best for him to live free and in the wild, so the Kratt brothers say!
We walked to a local wet land and successfully released our minnow 🙂 We also took the opportunity to talk about safety around rivers and streams.
